Women with ADHD 2.0 Skills Group

Build on what you know. Better understand what you need. Keep developing strategies that work for you.

Understanding ADHD can explain a lot but, ADHD isn’t the whole story of who you are.

The Women with ADHD 2.0 Skills Group builds on ADHD education and skill development by helping you look more closely at how you think, initiate, organize, problem-solve, and apply strategies across the different environments in your life.

This 10-week group provides a supportive place to continue developing practical skills while increasing awareness of what works for you, what gets in your way, and what you may need to approach differently.

And you get to do that alongside other women who understand that knowing what to do and consistently being able to do it aren’t always the same thing.

Take the Next Step in Understanding Your ADHD

Women with ADHD 2.0 moves beyond simply identifying ADHD-related challenges.

The emphasis shifts toward developing greater awareness and insight into your own patterns and learning how to apply strategies more effectively across work, home, relationships, responsibilities, and everyday life.

One of the important ideas behind this group is something Janet described simply as:

“There is more to me than ADHD.”

ADHD may influence how you initiate, organize, remember, communicate, manage time, or respond to demands—but it doesn’t define everything about you.

The goal is to better understand the interaction between your ADHD, your individual strengths and challenges, and the environments in which you’re trying to function.

What We’ll Work On

Initiation

You can understand exactly what needs to be done and still have difficulty getting yourself to begin.

We’ll continue working on initiation by looking at the barriers between knowing and doing and developing strategies that can make starting more accessible.

Metacognition

Metacognition is essentially thinking about your thinking.

It includes noticing how you’re approaching something, recognizing when a strategy isn’t working, evaluating your progress, and making an adjustment rather than simply pushing harder.

Developing this awareness can help you become more intentional about choosing strategies that fit the situation you’re actually in.

Organization

Organization isn’t just about having a clean desk, a perfect planner, or neatly labeled containers.

It’s about creating ways to manage information, responsibilities, belongings, tasks, and priorities that you can realistically use.

We’ll explore organization from the perspective of creating systems that better support how you function.

Applying Skills Across Environments

A strategy that works at work may not work at home.

Something that helps when you’re rested may disappear when you’re overwhelmed.

And a system that works beautifully when life is predictable may fall apart when circumstances change.

Women with ADHD 2.0 explores how to recognize those differences and adapt your strategies across the different environments and demands in your life.

Continued ADHD Education & Skill Building

Learning about ADHD isn’t a one-time event.

As your awareness increases, you may begin recognizing patterns you hadn’t noticed before. That creates new opportunities to experiment with strategies, make adjustments, and continue building skills.

The 2.0 group gives you a structured environment in which to continue that process.

Support & Connection

You aren’t expected to have everything figured out because you’ve already learned about ADHD or developed some strategies.

The group provides an opportunity to continue learning alongside other women who understand the frustrations, successes, setbacks, and sometimes unexpected realities of living with ADHD.

This is another area where I’d continue connecting the landing pages to the lived-experience knowledge base we’re developing for ProADHD Coaching.

“I know what I need to do, but I still can’t seem to get started.”

“I can create a system, but I can’t seem to keep using it.”

“I do great at work, but I fall apart at home.”

“I know a strategy that should help, but I don’t actually use it when I need it.”

“I feel like I’m working so much harder than everyone else.”

“I know I have a lot of good things to offer, but I never seem to measure up to what others are expecting.”

“I understand my ADHD better now, but I still need help figuring out what actually works for me.”

These experiences don’t necessarily mean you need more information.

Sometimes the next step is learning how to recognize your own patterns and apply what you already know more effectively.

Continue building on what you’ve learned while developing greater awareness of the strategies, supports, and approaches that work for you.
