Women with ADHD 3.0 Skills Group

Build on your skills. Strengthen your awareness. Put your strategies into practice.

Learning about ADHD is important. Developing strategies is important.

But the next challenge is often learning when, where, and how to apply those strategies in everyday life.

The Women with ADHD 3.0 Skills Group is a 10-week program focused on continued skill building, education, awareness, and insight, with an emphasis on applying executive functioning strategies to the situations and responsibilities that affect your everyday life. This is an opportunity to really shine and lean into your ADHD superpowers.

We’ll explore skills related to initiation, metacognition, mindset, and organization while continuing to build a better understanding of your own patterns, strengths, challenges, and needs.  This is where you will see your goals and accomplishments and routines support you and your household well.

The goal isn’t to create a perfect system.

It’s to continue developing strategies you can actually use.

From Understanding Your ADHD to Applying What You’ve Learned

As you learn more about ADHD, you may become much better at recognizing what’s happening.

You notice when you’re losing track of time.

You recognize when you’re having difficulty getting started.

You can tell when your attention has shifted.

You may even know which strategy could help.

And yet, recognizing a pattern and being able to respond to it in the moment can still be two very different things.

That’s where continued skill building becomes important.

Women with ADHD 3.0 Skills Group focuses on taking greater awareness and turning it into practical strategy application.

Rather than expecting one approach to solve every challenge, you’ll continue learning how to recognize what is happening, identify the executive functioning skill involved, and determine what kind of support or strategy may help.

What We’ll Work On

Women with ADHD Skills Group 3.0

From understanding your ADHD to understanding yourself.

You’ve learned about your ADHD. You’ve built strategies. You’ve figured out some of what works and probably discovered that knowing what works doesn’t mean it’s always easy to do.

Women with ADHD 3.0 Skills Group is about going deeper. It’s about noticing your patterns, understanding what gets in your way, recognizing what helps you thrive, and becoming more intentional about how you work with your brain in real life.

Growth Mindset

You can do this! You can change your own brain. You can make progress and still have days when old struggles show up again. That doesn’t erase how far you’ve come. We’ll work on moving away from all-or-nothing thinking, learning from what isn’t working, recognizing growth that can be easy to overlook, and becoming more willing to adjust rather than abandon a strategy when life changes.  We address “More to me than ADHD”, you have so many under acknowledged strengths and greatness that is something you can build on at every point in the journey.

Initiation

Getting started can be the hardest part, reducing or removing the friction of initiation struggles can be a deal breaker!

You can know what to do, have the tools to do it, and still find yourself waiting to feel ready to begin. We’ll take initiation a step further by looking at your individual starting patterns what creates friction, what helps create momentum, and how to make getting started easier without depending on pressure, urgency, or the last minute.

Metacognition

Your ability to think about your own thinking leads to intentional and steady progress.

Sometimes the hardest thing to notice is what’s happening while it’s happening. You may realize afterward that you were overwhelmed, distracted, stuck, overcommitted, or headed down the wrong path. We’ll work on getting better at noticing your own patterns in real time pausing, checking in, asking “What’s happening here?” and making adjustments before you’re completely off track.

Organization

There is both internal clutter and external clutter that may be impacting how your brain and body can navigate. Learning tools and techniques that are a match for you opens up the productivity doors.

You may have bought the planner, created the lists, organized the closet, downloaded the app or developed a system that worked wonderfully for three weeks and then disappeared from your life. This is also addressing communication and internal organization tools and tips.  We’ll move beyond simply “getting organized” and focus on creating flexible systems you can actually return to, maintain, and adapt when life gets busy.

You understand your ADHD better than you used to but you want to understand yourself even better.

You’re noticing your patterns. You know some of your strengths and stumbling blocks. You have strategies that work…sometimes. And you’re ready to move beyond collecting more tips and start becoming more intentional about when, why, and how you use them.

Women with ADHD Skills Group 3.0 is about turning awareness into personal growth-setting and reaching goals.

We’ll look at the space between knowing and doing, become more curious about the patterns that keep repeating, strengthen the ability to notice and adjust in the moment, and build systems that can bend when real life doesn’t go according to plan.

You don’t need to become a different person.

The goal is to become more of an expert on your own brain and more confident in knowing what to do when things aren’t working.

Awareness & Insight

One of the most valuable skills you can continue developing is the ability to recognize your own patterns without immediately judging yourself for them.

Instead of:

“Why do I always do this?”

The question can become:

“What’s happening here, and what support might help?”

That shift creates room for problem-solving.

Women with ADHD 3.0 Skills Group continues building the awareness and insight needed to recognize challenges earlier, evaluate what’s working, and make intentional adjustments.

You may recognize yourself in experiences like:

“I lose track of time.”

“I thought this would only take 30–45 minutes, but then I spent hours on it.”

“I know I need to start, but I just can’t.”

“I have trouble remembering anything.”

“I’m always 3–5 minutes late, no matter what I try.”

“I am constantly misplacing my wallet, keys, phone, or work badge.”

“I can’t finish a project.”

“I know what I need to do, but I don’t know how or where to start.”

“I’m so easily distracted by anyone else in my space.”

“Why is this so difficult for me?”

These aren’t hypothetical marketing statements. They’re drawn directly from the kinds of experiences our team reported hearing from people with ADHD.

The purpose of the group isn’t to expect these challenges to simply disappear.

It’s to continue developing awareness, skills, and strategies to respond to them differently.

Build Strategies That Can Affect More Than One Part of Your Life

Executive functioning doesn’t exist in isolation. We’ll look at the space between knowing and doing, become more curious about the patterns that keep repeating, strengthen the ability to notice and adjust in the moment, and build systems that can bend when real life doesn’t go as planned.

That’s why we specifically describe the executive functioning strategy work in Women with ADHD 3.0 as something that can have an impact on you and your whole household.

Improving your awareness and developing practical strategies can create changes that extend beyond an individual task.
